Glitter polishes are pretty popular these days, so when I saw Confetti‘s Tasmanian Devil and Tinsel polishes, I had to get them. Tasmanian Devil is probably my most favorite of any of my glitters, and some are calling it a dupe of Deborah Lippman’s Happy Birthday. Confetti is a 3 free nail polish that retails for $1.99 and sold exclusively by CVS. According to the Confetti website, the line includes 48 colors.
Tasmanian Devil (left) is a clear-based polish with multi-colored, multi-sized glitter. Tinsel (right) is a clear-based polish with same-sized holographic glitter.
Look at all the sparkle!
I layered this polish over Confetti‘s Lonesome Dove, a flat and cement-colored grey.
Index finger to pinky: Tasmanian Devil (2 coats), Tasmanian Devil (1 coat), Tinsel (2 coats), Tinsel (1 coat)
Again, in the picture below, the index finger shows 2 coats of Tasmanian Devil whereas the middle finger has only 1 coat.
Here, the third finger has two coats of Tinsel whereas the pinky has only one.
Both colors are packed with glitters, but I think Tinsel may be continued. I found it by chance at a CVS in Springfield, Virginia, but haven’t seen it at any other CVS. The color is also not listed on the Confetti website. Have you seen Tinsel at your local CVS? What are your favorite limited edition drugstore polishes?
